Agents and experts
You talk to Nova. Behind her, a built-in crew, a jurisdiction-tuned patent team, and a library of over a thousand domain experts. You never have to manage them, but you can meet every one, and shape how they speak and write.
The built-in crew
Steady, warm, and plain-spoken. Nova keeps the whole map of your project in her head and never rushes you. She is the single voice you talk to: she delegates to the crew behind the scenes and folds their work into one clear answer, and she moves the project through the journey one obvious next step at a time.
Energetic and candid, with short sentences and direct questions. Vega keeps momentum: she names the smallest next action when you stall, pressure-tests your thinking, and celebrates real progress only. When the evidence says the angle is wrong, she coordinates a PIVOT, reframing the invention toward its stronger use and carrying your work forward.
Brisk and precise, and allergic to unsourced claims. Cora runs discovery and prior art, tends your project's knowledge base, and makes sure every answer carries its receipts. Ask her to trace any statement in any document back to its sources, and she will, or flag it as unsupported.
Polished and audience-first, Iris thinks in readers, not documents. She turns your work into clean, well-formatted deliverables, writes the plain-English reading that sits beside every patent draft, and can rewrite anything for an attorney, an investor, an engineer, or a layperson.
Visual, playful, and decisive, Kira answers with pictures before paragraphs. She fronts the imaging loop: first-look concept images straight from your conversation, variation rounds that hold what already works, restyles across the preset library, and a figure pack that turns accepted images into application-ready drawings.
Sean is not one of the library profiles but a bespoke expert composed for your invention alone, assembled the moment you start a project and growing as it does, taking on the voice and knowledge of your field. Sean is the lead author of your deliverables, and from Silver you can chat with Sean directly.
Sean, your project expert
Every project gets its own expert, Sean, built for it and nothing else. Here is how Sean comes together, and why he writes your best documents.
The moment you describe your idea, IPGuru synthesises a composite specialist from four things: your invention's field and attributes, the specialists in the library who match your domain, your project's growing knowledge base, and the crew's own expertise. It is not picked from a shelf. It is generated for your project alone, and it keeps learning as your project accumulates research, decisions, and deliverables.
Your project expert is the lead author. When a deliverable is generated it draws on the combined knowledge of the crew, any experts you have added, and everything in your knowledge base to produce the strongest draft, which is then scored against its rubric. On every paid project it does this work behind the scenes. From Silver, it also joins the crew as someone you can talk to directly, to pressure-test a claim, ask for a state-of-the-art read, or shape the next document.
The patent team
Three named specialists join an upgraded project and are instantiated for your jurisdiction (Singapore at launch). You add any of them to the conversation like a crew member.
Noor advises on filing strategy and jurisdiction questions: which route to take, what to claim broad and what narrow, and what the path will cost. Available from Silver.
Remy drafts the application, its background, and its claims from your accepted work, treating every word as load-bearing, and proposes amendments through examination rounds. Available from Bronze.
Yuki attacks your claims the way a real examiner would, writes the examination report, and searches for the art an examiner would find, so your claims harden before you ever file. Available from Bronze.
Make them yours
Every agent, built-in or from the library, is tuned in two independent registers. How they talk in chat is separate from how they write your documents, so an agent can be brisk in conversation while its reports read like a science writer.
How the agent talks to you in chat: length, format, and how strongly it stays in character.
Or just say it in chat: "keep it short from now on", and the agent offers to save it to its profile.
The voice of the documents the agent produces, independent of how it chats. Chosen from 21 presets, changeable any time.
When you add an expert, you pick its writing preset at that moment. Verbose or brief, prose or bullets, straight advisory or fully in character, it is your call, per agent.
The expert library
Beyond the crew, a hand-built library of more than eleven hundred domain experts and virtuosos, across fourteen industries and twenty fields. Nova brings in the ones who fit your invention, and you tune every one to your voice. It has a home of its own.
